Samaya AI is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team and help us develop and deploy efficient and powerful search and cutting-edge neural retrieval systems. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing performant backend retrieval systems while working with machine learning and large language models (LLMs).
Responsibilities:
- Implement and optimize search and neural retrieval systems
- Scale architectures while optimizing performance and accuracy
- Assist with cloud orchestration and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain production environment
- Curate and manage large-scale data ingestion and indexing pipelines
Requirements:
- Strong programming and engineering skills, with versatility across the backend stack
- Track record of working with large-scale information retrieval systems
- Passion, independence, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Passion for solving challenging problems
