Samaya raises Series A led by NEA with $43.5 million in funding

We’re delighted to announce our Series A led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and $43.5 million in funding to deliver on this vision. The round is joined by leaders in AI and financial services including Eric Schmidt, Yann LeCun, David Siegel, and Marty Chavez.

We founded Samaya in 2022 - before ChatGPT - on a core conviction: Expert intelligence emerges from specialization.

Financial services is a $35 trillion market and a huge opportunity for AI to address crippling information overload and streamline workflows. But building AI for financial services is a deeply technical challenge requiring specialization.

Standard LLMs are prone to generic outputs, hallucinations, static knowledge and stochasticity. AI in financial services must be domain aware, robust and process large volumes of real time information. Samaya’s Expert AI Agents are purpose built with custom LLMs to deliver precise, auditable insights synthesized with deep financial understanding, in outputs that fit seamlessly with financial workflows.
